I like the night life #boatlife #downeastboats #wilburyachts Honoring my great uncle LCDR Godfrey deC. Chevalier and his wife at Arlington national cemetery yesterday. Chevalier died 14 November 1922 of injuries sustained in a crash of his Vought VE-7 biplane two days earlier. Just a month prior he made the first arrested landing on America’s first aircraft carrier, the USS Langley (CV-1) in his Aeromarine 39B. What a beautiful day at our marina. #boatlife Morning marina meander: filed under things you don't see every day. This looked to be about 60 ft LOA with about a 7 ft beam, 5 ft draft. Its freeboard looks to be about 18" fully loaded. I'm guessing based on the lack of a visible helm and sensors festooned about that it's an autonomous vehicle meant to deliver cargo stealthily. With its crazy length/beam ratio it would be easily driven and therefore would have some impressive range. What is the USN up to with this I wonder... At rest after a grueling day of naps, walks and fetch #doglife #boatlife Hard at work. #boatlife #doglife Good morning America. #boatlife According to Bomar, these T handle seals should be replaced every 5 to 7 years. I’m pretty sure these have been here since 1981. Regardless, it’s Great Boat therapy. #boatlife The best office for deep thinking. #boatlife
