Getting into the yacht brokerage business was a gamble. I could have stayed in comfortably salaried and stable job. Thank goodness I didn’t.

I’m in Newport, RI this week working the boat show and doing some showings here and in Boston. I’m very grateful to be staying aboard a friend’s and client’s boat while I’m here. I sold this boat to them six years ago, and watching them create some of the best memories of their lives on it is incredibly fulfilling. This is where the drive comes from – the passion – to do this work.

Who will I meet today? Who’ll stop by the booth with a dream in their head needing someone to help them make it reality? I’m beyond grateful to be that someone.
