A few years ago Annapolis show management added a ‘brokerage cove’ section to the show. We think this is great because it gives attendees a greater variety of boats to look at and gives us a chance to show some of our local inventory.
This year we had a 10’x20′ barge for our booth and 5 boats in the show. Thankfully, the weather was great!

This was a nice mix of affordable boats great for the Chesapeake Bay. As of today we’ve got offers pending on 3 of the 5 so that’s great.
There’s always quite a variety of boats on display in the brokerage section which keeps things interesting. My favorite – the queen of the show IMHO – was this gorgeous Jack Hargrave designed 1966 Burger 64′. Just amazing. It’s the kind of boat that looked great when she was built and will look great 50 years hence. That is, assuming she will continue to have loving owners. I was glad to hear from the listing broker that she went under contract the last day of the show.
